Our Beliefs
Our belief statements are rooted in Scripture and serve as foundational pillars for our Christian faith, guiding our worship, teaching, and ministry in accordance with God's Word.
1. We believe in the Triune God, one God who exists eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; John 10:30, 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Philippians 2:5-7).
2.We believe in the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God, authoritative and infallible to all matters of faith and practice. We accept that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments contain every answer for every life challenge (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
3.We believe in salvation through Jesus Christ alone who died for our sins, rose again, and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who repent and believe in Him (John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10).
4.We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is a gift from God subsequent to salvation to empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God’s will (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:5; 2:4, 2:38, 10:44 - 48, 19:1-6). Acts 1:8).
5.We believe in the power of prayer to communicate with God, to seek His will, and to experience His presence and guidance in our lives (Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
6.We believe in the priesthood of all believers and that every believer has direct access to God through Jesus Christ and is called to serve and minister to others in love and humility (1 Peter 2:9; Romans 12:4-8; Galatians 5:13).
7.We believe that all believers are called and commissioned to share the Gospel with people of all nations, cultures, and backgrounds, making disciples of Jesus Christ and spreading His love to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Psalm 67:2-3; Isaiah 49:6)
8.We believe that all believers, male man and female man, are uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit to edify the body of Christ and to advance God's kingdom as co-laborers (I Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10; Acts 2:17-18; Galatians 3:26-28; Joel 2:28-29; Acts 18: 2, 24-26; Romans 16:1-2).
9.We believe in the importance of community: We believe in the value of Christian fellowship, discipleship, and accountability within the body of believers, encouraging one another in love and good works. To uplift, encourage, and support one another (Hebrews 10:24-25; Acts 2:42-47; I Thessalonians 5:11; Ephesians 4:11-16; Romans 12:4-5).
10.We believe in the return of Jesus Christ and that He will judge the living and the dead and establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Acts 1:11; Revelation 22:12).
